Save & Reuse Your Qwilr Content

Qwilr's content libraries can save you so much time. Here’s a guide to all your options.

Trick #1:

Make some clones

Cloning is a Qwilr superpower. You can quickly copy content, and use that as the basis for more content. There are several ways to clone:

Cloning whole pages

First, let's clone an existing Qwilr Page.

You can clone any page from your dashboard, like this:

You can also make a clone while you're editing any page, like this:

Cloning blocks

You can also quickly copy any block in your page. That's a great way to retain all its settings, and then update the contents.

Look in the top left corner of any block, and you'll see the Clone icon.

Cloning sections of quotes

As you're working in the Quote Block, you can also clone individual sections. Click on the top edge of any section and look for that same Clone icon.


Trick #2:

Turn pages into templates


Once you've created a page, you can turn it into a template.

Then you have a "master copy," and your team can quickly copy new pages from it.

You can convert any page to a template from within the editor. Head to the top right corner.


Once you've converted the template, it moves to your template library. You can get there any time from the dashboard.

You can update the template at any time. And your team can make edits to any page they've created from the template.


Trick #3:

Build your library of saved blocks


What if you need to reuse sections of your page?

No problem - just save some blocks, so you can use them again later.

To save any block, head to its top left corner. Then click the Block Options icon:


​You can build a whole library of saved blocks, and use them in any page, any time.

As your library grows, you can sort and search it to find blocks quickly.


Trick #4

You can also save a library of quote line items


Don't enter the same line items over and over

If you build a lot of price quotes, Qwilr’s saved line item library comes in very handy. 

You can save any line item in the quote you're editing, like this:

...Or even upload all your items to the library at once, using a CSV file.

Then you can add any lines to any quote with a few clicks.


Trick #5 and #6

What about a library of price breaks?

(Or a library of discounts?)

Here are two more great time-savers for quoting:

If you offer price breaks for specific quantities, you can save these to your Variables library. Then you can add your quantity and the correct price populates automatically.

Discounts you offer regularly, you can save to your discounts library to use later:


Trick #7

There's even a library for saving page styling!


When you have the colors and settings of a particular block just as you like them, save that style to your library. Then you can reuse it anytime.

You can save the styling of any kind of block, and then grab the style from your library whenever you need it.
